honor the clouds and the rain. is a two person show between Carolina Alamilla and Chris Marin. Carolina's ceramic and vinyl clouds wrap around the walls while Chris's soft sculpture Mexican raindrops hang from the ceiling, using ribbon.

Honor the clouds and the rain refers to the symbolization of going through situations in life, and being grateful for learning and understanding changes.

Clouds can provide shade in the hot summer days, and warrant rain. Rain provides nourishment for crops, gardens and other horticulture, yet rain is synonymous with men confessing crying in public. There is neither good nor bad, all about perspective. The clouds and rain are a neutral element and our emotions are dependent on our perspective. This exhibition is meant to be walked through and experienced in-person.
